Ricky Gervais and Jon Stewart laugh about Nazis, Jesus and more on 'The Daily Show'
Comedian Ricky Gervais was last on "The Daily Show" back on Valentine's Day and if you missed it, it was one of the most hilarious interviews we've ever seen on any television program. Of course, he and host Jon Stewart actually talked about nothing - they just spent five minutes trying to make each other laugh. It was a sight to behold.
Now Ricky was back Wednesday night (April 11) to promote his new animated show, which he says he developed in order to bring British TV personality Karl Pilkington to the world. And naturally, the interview devolved into all sorts of shenanigans.
"I created this show because I wanted to show Carl Pilkington to the world ... Carl is the missing link. He doesn't understand the world. This is a man who genuinely thought that Anne Frank was just avoiding paying rent," says Gervais. And the laughs just keep rolling from there.
Watch the video, we cannot possibly do it justice here.
