Powerball winner has both $1 million winning tickets
Lightning has struck twice for Virginia Fike, who bought two Powerball tickets with the same numbers -- the same winning numbers. The tickets are worth $1 million each."I'm in shock!" Virginia Fike tells the Virginia Lottery. "I picked numbers based on my parents' anniversary and their ages at that time, divided by the year they were married."
The winning Powerball numbers were drawn on Saturday, April 7. Fike was sitting in a hospital room with her mother when she saw a television report about there being two $1 million winners.
"I looked at my mom and said 'Wouldn't it be funny if it was us?'" she says.
Fike plans to use the money to take care of her parents and pay some bills.
What would you do with $2 million?
