Lamborghini SUV to debut at 2012 Beijing auto show

Images hit the web Friday (April 20) of Lamborghini's proposed new sport utility vehicle, the Urus, making its conceptual debut at the 2012 Beijing auto show.

"The Urus is the most extreme interpretation of the SUV idea; it is the Lamborghini of the SUV's," Stephen Winkelmann, Lamborghini's chief executive, says in a press release.

Lamborghini is counting on markets like China and Russia to contribute a significant portion of the luxury SUV's sales. If produced, the vehicle is expected to arrive in 2017.
