Jake Owen proposes to Lacey Buchanan on stage

Country singer Jake Owen made sure girlfriend Lacey Buchanan wasn't "The One Who Got Away" Saturday night (April 7) when he proposed on stage at the Citrus Bowl at Florida's Vero Beach High, reports People.

Owen brought Buchanan out while singing his hit "Don't Think I Can't Love You" before getting down on one knee and popping the question -- without a ring -- in front of the audience.

"You're probably wondering where your ring is, right?" Owen jokingly asked her.

Referencing the lyrics to his song, he added, "I just said I can't buy you a big diamond ring or a big old house on the hill, but I promise you I'll love you forever and ever and ever."

Owen later tweeted, "I'm a happy man. Life is complete."
