George Zimmerman fund-raising site pulled as Trayvon Martin's family says he should be back in jail

George Zimmerman's attorney, Mark O'Mara, says his client's bail might have been set higher than $150,000 had the judge known about $200,000 raised by a website for his legal defense, reports the Associated Press.

Zimmerman launched the website, TheRealGeorgeZimmerman.com, on April 10 to solicit funds using PayPal to fight the second-degree murder charge he faces for killing Florida teen Trayvon Martin on Feb. 26. The site has since been pulled down while O'Mara is working to restructure the fund, Fox News reports.

"We are currently going through the Division of Consumer Service for an authorized fund. We will likely put up another website for donations, but it will be done so through my office," O'Mara says.

On CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360," O'Mara says he only learned about the money Wednesday and will tell a judge at Friday's (April 27) hearing, which was initially scheduled to deal with a media request asking the judge to unseal documents from Zimmerman's court file.  

CNN also reports that the attorney for Trayvon Martin's family, meanwhile, says Zimmerman should be returned to jail for not reporting to a judge that he had $204,000.
