Dave Matthews premieres new song 'Mercy' on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon'

President Barack Obama wasn't Jimmy Fallon's only guest to jam on Wednesday (April 25). Dave Matthews premiered his band's new song, "Mercy," on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" the same night.

Captain Kirk Douglas of The Roots accompanied Matthews during the performance. "Mercy" is the first track confirmed to be on the new Dave Matthews Band album due out later this year.

Producer Steve Lillywhite tweeted after the performance, saying it's "not just acoustic on the album" and "it is not quiet on the album!"
