Boxer Hector 'Macho' Camacho charged with child abuse

Hector "Macho" Camacho is facing child abuse charges after the boxing legend allegedly picked up his son by the neck, threw him to the ground an stomped on him.

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that the altercation happened on March 22, 2011 at the home of Camacho's ex-wife. It is here, the report states, Camacho was miffed about some money he thought he left at the home. The boxer's son apparently told authorities that "Macho" yelled at him, threw him and stomped on his foot.

The boy later told the cops that his dad was "high on drugs." A Camacho spokesperson disputes this, telling TMZ that he's not a drug user.

Camacho turned himself in to the Orange County (FL) Jail on Monday (April 2). He was released on $5,000 bond.
