Box Office: 'Hunger Games' fights off 'Three Stooges' and 'Cabin in the Woods'
It seems that no one can knock "The Hunger Games" off its box office perch. The latest two who've tried and failed are "The Three Stooges" and "The Cabin in the Woods.""Games" won the Friday (April 13) box office with an estimated $6.5 million, this according to Deadline. "Stooges," which stars Chris Diamantopoulos, Sean Hayes and Will Sasso, took home $5.6 million. Joss Whedon's "Cabin" came in third with $5.5 million.
"American Reunion," the fourth big screen film in the "American Pie" series, continues to hold strong in fourth place. The movie took in $3.4 million. "Titanic 3-D" rounded out the top five by collecting $3.3 million.

1. The Hunger Games - $6.5 million
2. The Three Stooges - $5.6 million
3. The Cabin In The Woods - $5.5 million
4. American Reunion - $3.4 million
5. Titanic 3D - $3.3 million
6. Lockout - $2.2 million
