'Biggest Loser' couple Sam Poueu and Stephanie Anderson get married

"The Biggest Loser" has changed plenty of people's lives for the better, but the NBC weight loss show has given former contestants Sam Poueu and Stephanie Anderson even more than good health -- it's given them true love. The couple, who competed on "Biggest Loser" in 2009, finally got married on Saturday, April 28.

Tragedy struck last year when Poueu fell from a roof, delaying their wedding, but People reports that he's all recovered and the couple said "I do"s in San Francisco. Anderson wore a White by Vera Wang dress while the groom and his groomsmen wore Vera Wang tuxedos.

Poueu proposed during a "Biggest Loser" episode that aired in Oct. 2010.

After Poueu's accident, Anderson told People, "He said early on that he lived for me. He wanted to be married to me. He wanted to have children with me and grow old with me."

She continues: "To know someone fought so hard, not only for the family they have, but for the family they dream of - that's pretty powerful."
