Beyonce tweets! Her personal pics and new high-concept website

Beyonce has had a confirmed Twitter account since 2009 -- not to mention well over 3 million followers -- but it wasn't until Thursday, April 5, 2012 that she finally posted her first tweet. Make sure to circle the date on your calendar.

Beyonce's new website has launched, and with all the glamour of a high-fashion editorial. She also set up a personal Tumblr account. She's not new to the medium; fans will remember that she and Jay-Z shared the first photos of baby Blue Ivy Carter on their Tumblr.

Her new account features a ton of personal pics of herself and her family on trips, including playful pregnancy shots and a few photos of her nephew, Julez. "This is my life, today, over the years -- through my eyes. My family, my travels, my love," she writes. "This is where I share with you. This will continue to grow as I do. Love, Beyonce."
