'Avengers': Joss Whedon might be shooting a top secret scene -- Chris Hemsworth comments
At the press conference for the release of "Marvel's The Avengers," star Robert Downey Jr. couldn't leave without giving the press a tease. He says, "We're shooting a scene tonight. I'm not kidding." This sent the room into a tizzy. Many reporters had heard this before and this sounded like confirmation. When writer/director/bringer of geek happiness Joss Whedon was asked about it he denied it. Kind of. He implied that Downey had been joking. There is already an after credit scene, something that Marvel is known for, so what could they be shooting?
We got a chance to chat with Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth, who didn't exactly deny it. "Ah, I cannot comment on the grounds that it may incriminate me in some way," he laughs. "I looked across to Kevin (Feige) when he [Downey] said that. And there was the half smile, half sort of 'What are you doing?' look that the gave them. I'm happy to not have said it." That doesn't sound like a no. If they really weren't shooting, why wouldn't he say no?
We want to know what you think? Does that sound like a denial to you? What would you like to see? Let us know your thoughts.
