Andrew Luck handles David Letterman like a champ
For Andrew Luck, Thursday was a day of firsts. He was the first pick of the NFL draft. It was his first trip to "The Late Show with David Letterman." And he found his first friend in his new hometown of Indianapolis - Dave's mom.During an interview on the late night talk show, Letterman asked the Heisman Trophy winner his thoughts about going to the Indianapolis Colts. "Couldn't be more thrilled," Luck responds. But Luck might not know anyone in Indy. For that, Letterman had a simple solution, he gave him a card with contact information for his mother Dorothy Letterman.
Letterman also did his part to test out the mettle of the young quarterback. He did so by pointing out Luck is replacing an Indianapolis icon in Peyton Manning. Luck handled the "grilling" like a champ.
