Ty Burrell and wife Holly adopt a baby girl

Send "Modern Family" star Ty Burrell your congratulations, because the actor and wife Holly have added another member to their family.

According to E! Online, the Burrell family recently adopted a baby girl. She's little sister to 2-year-old Frances, whom the family adopted in March of 2010.

Burrell plays bumbling suburban dad Phil Dunphy on "Modern Family," and tells E! Online that he admires his character's caring nature. "I do love how much he tries, you know what I mean?" Burrell says. "I hope I can try as hard as Phil. Maybe not quite as hard as Phil, but I hope I can try."

Since Phil's dad to two girls and a boy on the show, the Burrell family is one little boy away from life imitating art.
