Tim Tebow's musical alter-ego TeBowie returns to 'Late Night'
While Tim Tebow is soon to be gone from the Denver Broncos, there's at least a little bit of good news. TeBowie is back.Jimmy Fallon has revived the David Bowie/Tim Tebow hybrid character and is singing about all the drama the quarterback is facing. Of course the focus of TeBowie's recent performance is the Broncos signing multi-time MVP Peyton Manning.
"He threw it left-hand/but his aim was bad/He lost to New England/Guess God's a Brady fan," Fallon sings to the music of "Ziggy Stardust" on his Tuesday (March 20) broadcast.
Fallon continues with the routine while dressed in full TeBowie regalia. "Tebow prayed to God/Begging him to smite the Mannings/And find him a job," he sings.
Fallon first created the character during the NFL playoffs. His first routine was to "Space Oddity."
Given all the trade news that's going on regarding the Denver QB, we're guessing that "Changes" will be the next song parody. Of course if he gets traded to the Motor City, it'll certainly be "Panic in Detroit."
