'Supernatural's' Jared Padalecki names son Thomas Colton

When Zap2it chatted with Jared Padalecki in January about the upcoming  birth of his son with wife Genevieve Padalecki -- who co-starred on "Supernatural" as the demon Ruby -- he joked, "My demon child is on the way, I'm good."

Luckily, the baby -- who was born Monday, March 19 in Seattle -- has a very non-demonic name: The Padaleckis named him Thomas Colton Padalecki, Jared's rep confirmed to People.

Little Thomas (8 lbs, 6 oz, if you were wondering) is already an overachiever, as fans have raised over $40,000 in his name for St. Jude's Research Hospital. (He's also a Twitter trending topic, so he can cross that one off his bucket list early.)

Padalecki will head back to work on "Supernatural" later this week. "The writers and [executive producer Sera Gamble] and the bunch have expressed a lot of interest in helping me out as much as they can. Unfortunately, it's the end of the season so I can't just vanish or turn into a goat or something," he told us.
