Spider apocalypse in Wagga Wagga, Australia

Spiders1.jpgWe guarantee you'll have the heebie-jeebies after looking at these photos. Spiders have blanketed the Australian town of Wagga Wagga in New South Wales after a flood forced residents to evacuate. The rising waters made the spiders relocate to higher ground. And there are a lot of them!

Fields are covered with so many cobwebs that it looks like a snowstorm from afar. These wolf spiders have spun their webs close together to escape. We can't imagine how anyone could go anywhere near that town right now, but some people have moved back.
