Robert Pattinson's 'Cosmopolis' trailer appears online

The trailer for heartthrob Robert Pattinson's newest film has surfaced online. The French trailer for "Cosmopolis" has hit the web and shows Pattinson in a much darker role then "Twilight" fans might be used to.

The film is directed by David Cronenberg and features Pattinson as a 28-year-old playboy billionaire. We see him with a gun and in the bedroom. (The video is below and it's very racy.) This is definitely not the sweet Edward Cullen.

Pattinson seems to be working to break out of the "Twilight" world and avoid typecasting. He and co-star Kristen Stewart have been playing roles that are the complete opposite of their most famous ones. Pattinson plays a darker role in the upcoming "Bel Ami" and Stewart will be wearing armor in "Snow White and the Huntsman." Check out the trailer and let us know what you think.
