Kim Kardashian hit with white powder

It was a scary night on the red carpet for Kim Kardashian. On Thursday (March 22), the reality starlet was assaulted  by a woman who threw white powder on her.

TMZ is reporting that Kardashian was at a West Hollywood event promoting her new fragrance line when an unnamed assailant tossed the powder on her. The woman has since been detained by the police

The situation was serious enough that the fire department showed up to examine it. Luckily it turned out that the material was nothing more than baking flour.

Kardashian dusted herself off and returned to the event.
