Karina Smirnoff and Owen Wilson deny dating rumors

This week, tabloids reported that "Dancing With The Stars" pro Karina Smirnoff was dating funnyman Owen Wilson, after ending her engagement to baseball player Brad Penny. Fans suspected that a bit of a rebound was in order, particularly given that Wilson is no longer seeing Jade Duell, the mother of his son.

Not so fast! Smirnoff's reps were quick to shoot down the rumor mill. "There is nothing there," sources tell E!. "They ran into each other once randomly. They are friends but not dating at all."

Funny how the rumors always begin to swirl right around the "Dancing With The Stars" premiere date, eh? The show premieres this Monday, March 19.
