'Frankenweenie' teaser trailer, new photos: Tim Burton makes creepy adorable

Tim Burton is back with the long-awaited "Frankenweenie." In this black and white, stop-motion animated film, a boy looses his dog and loves him so much, he brings him back to life a la Frankenstein's monster.

Burton has a knack for making the creepy adorable, as you'll see in the trailer. You'll find yourself grinning as the boy digs up his pet dog in the cemetary ... yes, you read that right. We've been waiting for this one for a long time. The film also reunites Burton with stars Catherine O'Hara and Winona Ryder who both starred in "Beetlejuice."

If the title sounds familiar, it should. This is a remake of Burton's 1984 short film. Check out the new teaser trailer and brand new photos below. "Frankenweenie" opens on October 5th, 2012.
