Flavor Flav opens Las Vegas eatery serving chicken and waffles; Yeah boy!

Forget "Flavor of Love." Erstwhile rapper and reality star Flavor Flav is all about cooking up tasting chicken now that he's opened a Las Vegas eatery.

"This is where the flavor is," Flav tells the Las Vegas Sun. "Straight-up flavor, right here."

Besides his signature fried chicken, the restaurant will serve up fried shrimp and red velvet waffles.

From a press release sent out about the new eatery:

"The restaurant is decorated with memorabilia from Flavor Flav's multi-faceted career as a rapper hype man, reality-TV star and entertainer for audiences around the world. Patrons of the House of Flavor might also expect celebrity sightings."

Surprisingly, Flav -- real name William Jonathan Drayton, is the son of a restaurateur and actually attended culinary school in the 1970s before transitioning into rap and clock-wearing.
