Eagle cam: First egg is hatching -- come on, baby eagle!
Streaming Live by Ustream
The baby eagles are landing -- or hatching, rather -- in Decorah, Iowa, while thousands watch on the ever-present Eagle Cam livestream. The first American bald eaglet beak popped through one of the three eggs Monday (March 26) evening and will take between 12 and 48 hours to fully emerge.
Wired reports that many eagle cam watchers spent the entire weekend glued to their computers waiting for the big event -- known as a pip.
Have you been following the eagle cam? What's cuter: eaglets, kittens or baby penguins?
