Daylight Savings time change: Don't forget to spring forward!
A friendly reminder from Zap2it to everyone in America: Don't forget to turn your clocks forward on Sunday, March 11 at 2 a.m.!Daylight saving time begins this weekend, which means we'll enjoy an extra hour of daylight in the evenings as the weather gets warmer.
Sure, we lose an hour of sleep, but that means we'll leave work when the sun is still shining, so that's always a plus. (Unless you live in Arizona, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, which don't observe Daylight Saving Time.)
DST begins annually on the second Sunday in March, and ends the first Sunday in November. Unfortunately, the first day of spring isn't until March 20, so we'll still have to wait more than a week until the equinox and spring officially begins.
