Charlize Theron adopts baby boy Jackson

Charlize Theron is a mom. On Wednesday (March 14) a rep for the actress confirmed that Theron adopted a baby boy.

"Charlize Theron has adopted a child," the rep tells Us Weekly. "She is the proud mom of a healthy baby boy named Jackson."

Jackson is the "Young Adult" star's first child.

In 2009, Theron talked about wanting to start a family with then-boyfriend Stuart Townsend.

"I just know I'm going to have five boys," Theron told Vogue. "We've been together so long we've kind of realized that we're going to take this journey together."

Theron and Townsend split in 2010 after nine years together.
