Carson Daly says gays couldn't have stopped JetBlue pilot, quickly apologizes
TV and radio host Carson Daly weighed in on the recent problems involving a JetBlue pilot, but we're going to guess that he wishes he hadn't.It was on his radio show on Thursday (March 28) that Daly was discussing the flight in which a pilot had to be restrained by passengers. Daly weighed in by explaining, "Most of the people were on their way to some sort of security conference in Las Vegas...So there's a bunch of dudes, and well-trained dudes...Thank God."
He continues, "With my luck, it would be like, 'This is the flight going to [Gay] Pride in San Francisco'...I mean, that would be my colleagues."
Daly then affects what he believes to be a gay voice saying, "Uh, we're headed down to Vegas for the floral convention. Can we get a little help up here with the pilot? Oh no! No thank you."
Daly has since apologized, writing on his Twitter page, "This morning on my radio show I attempted to make fun of myself & offended others by mistake. I sincerely apologize."
