Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen's ex-wife, strikes a plea in cocaine case, won't face jail time
Charlie Sheen's ex-wife Brooke Mueller has struck a plea deal in her felony cocaine possession case. And it looks like the agreement will keep her from having to serve any jail time.TMZ is reporting that Mueller will plead guilty to felony possession of cocaine under 4 grams. As punishment, the actress/reality star will receive 12-months probation. Assuming she keeps her nose clean (no pun intended) during this period, this charge will be wiped off her record.
The case dates back to Dec. 2011 when Mueller was nabbed for coke as well as misdemeanor assault after bar fight in Aspen, CO. As for the assault charge, that's been dismissed.
Since the arrest, Mueller completed a two-month stint in rehab. According to her spokesperson, she is now in an "aggressive outpatient program."
Chief Deputy D.A. Arnold Mordkin didn't comment on the reported agreement other than to say, "We are treating Ms. Mueller no differently than any other defendant."
