Box Office: Channing Tatum's '21 Jump Street' tops Friday night
"21 Jump Street," the comedy starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill, was tops at the box office after Friday evening (March 16), earning $13 million, which puts it on pace for a $35 million opening weekend."The Lorax" stayed strong after two weekends at No. 1, while "John Carter" is still struggling at the box office. In a bit of a surprise, Will Ferrell's "Casa de Mi Padre" opened to $765,000 at only 382 locations nationwide - and it only cost $6 million to make.
