Box Office: Channing Tatum's '21 Jump Street' tops Friday night

jump-street-tuxedos.jpg"21 Jump Street," the comedy starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill, was tops at the box office after Friday evening (March 16), earning $13 million, which puts it on pace for a $35 million opening weekend.

"The Lorax" stayed strong after two weekends at No. 1, while "John Carter" is still struggling at the box office. In a bit of a surprise, Will Ferrell's "Casa de Mi Padre" opened to $765,000 at only 382 locations nationwide - and it only cost $6 million to make.
