Amber Tamblyn pranks Tyrese Gibson; she's 86 percent sorry

We could not possibly love Amber Tamblyn more after discovering her utterly genius pranking of actor/model/rapper Tyrese Gibson, who approached her via e-mail thinking he was writing supermodel Amber Rose.

According to Movieline, Gibson contacted Tamblyn after seeing her name on a mutual friend's cc list -- except he thought she was Amber Rose, supermodel -- who is engaged to Wiz Khalifa and once dated Kanye West. Gibson proposed a musical collaboration. Recognizing an opportunity for fun, Tamblyn wrote back without letting on about the whole mistaken identity thing.

Eventually, yes, he did catch on and he chastised Tamblyn for playing him out.

In a blog post entitled "The Tyrese Sessions," Tamblyn explains how things ended up:

"I emailed Tyrese one last time yesterday (as myself of course) after he wrote me saying "you took this s*** public?! Not cool... not even remotely..." I reiterated that yes I took advantage of a man that took advantage of another man's cc list... but it's all good- we should do a song together and laugh at the whole thing. He said my music was "corny as f***" and no. Now I am 86% sorry, Tyrese."
