'The Hunger Games' advance tickets selling at a fast clip
If you're hoping to see "The Hunger Games" on its opening night -- March 23 -- you may want to add yourself to the crush of fans who have already bought their tickets online. Eighty-three percent of those tickets are apparently already gone on the first day of sales, reports EW.But, all hope is not lost -- if you happen to be in the Los Angeles area (or are willing to fly out on your own dime with absolutely no guarantee that you'll see anything but a bunch of equally rabid fans), you could be one of 400 tributes lucky enough to be admitted to the movie's premiere at the Nokia Theater on March 12.
The movie stars Jennifer Lawrence as the tough-as-nails (yet stylish) Katniss Everdeen, who volunteers to a gladiator-style battle to the death in order to save her younger sister from the same fate. Along the way she gets to wield a bow and arrow and have close encounters with hot guys, including Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.
For the rest of you who can't score early tickets or make it to L.A., get in line early at your local multiplex and may the odds be forever in your favor.
