Taylor Momsen tones it down for New York Fashion Week

Former "Gossip Girl" star and current angry little girl rocker Taylor Momsen did something surprising during New York fashion week: she looked like she belonged there.

Not only did she not show up wearing a shirt but no accompanying pants, Momsen actually wore a tasteful Marchesa lace dress to the designer's show that stopped just above the knee. Sure, it was black lace but it looked completely tasteful and appropriate. She certainly holds her own next to George Clooney's gal pal Stacy Keibler.

Her language could use a little polish when it comes to answer the mainstream media's queries though.

When asked what she thought of the show, Momsen told E! News, "It was f***ing ... excuse me ... It was beautiful. It was gorgeous."

Baby steps.
