Keanu Reeves, Lil Boosie not dead, despite Internet rumors

The celebrity death hoax engine kicked into high gear on Sunday (Feb. 12) after the very real passing of Whitney Houston. Both Keanu Reeves and rapper Lil Boosie were rumored to have died, but both are in fact alive and well.

Lil Boosie was is safely stowed in Louisiana's Angola Prison where he's serving time on drug charges while he awaits trial on a first-degree murder charge. Early on Sunday rumors started circulating online claiming he had alternately been stabbed or had a seizure while in jail.

Reeves was the victim of a snowboarding accident in Switzerland, according to one over-used death scenario rumor that also hit the Web on Sunday. But, as Gossip Cop reports, Keanu is merely the latest victim of the death hoax generating site Global Associated News.
