Joyce DeWitt, Suzanne Somers end 'Three's Company' feud

Never let it be said that Suzanne Somers doesn't know how to create buzz. In an episode of her new Web series, "Suzanne Somers' Breaking Through," the actress reunites with "Three's Company" co-star Joyce DeWitt after 30 years of silence.

The two stopped speaking when Somers left "Three's Company" in 1981 after producers refused her salary demands.

"I'm glad we're going to do this," says DeWitt in the interview.wi

I'm really glad to get to know you all over again," replies Somers, who spent five years starring opposite DeWitt and the late John Ritter on the '70s-era sitcom.

Since their stint together on "Three's" DeWitt has had some career ups and downs. She's currently starring in the New York stage production "Miss Abigail's GUide to Dating, Mating and Marriage." In 2009, she was arrested for drunken driving in California. She pleaded no contest and underwent a 9-month alcohol program.

Somers went on to star in ABC's "Step by Step" and has become something of an evangelist for her health beliefs, including "bioidentical hormone replacement therapy." In 2001, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, but has so far refused chemotherapy treatments -- opting instead to use alternative treatments.
