Is Snooki engaged, for real and/or for TV?

On Thursday (Feb. 15), rumors surfaced claiming that Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi -- "Jersey Shore's" no. 1 meatball -- is engaged to boyfriend Jianni LaValle.

Star magazine claimed that Jionni had proposed on Valentine's Day and that their wedding preparations would be the focus of the spinoff show Snooki will be taping with Jenni J-WOWW Farley in Jersey City.

But, a rep for the reality star says there's no truth to the rumor. At least for now.

"It's a no but I can't wait to see what they say next week," Snooki's rep tells The Examiner.

Whatever that means. Just a week ago, Polizzi was denying rumors that she was expecting her first child.
