'Hunger Games' Barbie: Katniss Everdeen gets immortalized in doll form

Avid "Hunger Games" collectors are going to have a hard time keeping up with the myriad of book and movie tie-in products coming out in advance of the film adaptation's March 23 release, but here's an item we're thinking will make a big impression: a Katniss Everdeen Barbie doll.

According to the Huffington Post, our ace archer heroine is getting her likeness immortalized in Barbie form. The only details we have so far: she'll wear one of Katniss' well-known outfits, and she'll retail for $28. You can allegedly pre-order the doll now, although it won't hit stores until April.

Although the girl on fire dress would be amazing, we're thinking a Katniss Barbie would have to come dressed in her archer outfit (and wouldn't a bow and arrow be a cute accessory?), simply because that's the most iconic image of the character.
