Feng Fei Fei, Taiwanese star, dies at 60

feng-fei-fei.jpgFeng Fei Fei, a Taiwanese singer and TV host passed away in Hong Kong on Jan. 3 after losing her battle with lung cancer, reports Cinema Online, but per the star's request the news of her death was withheld until after Chinese New Year.

Feng Fei Fei -- who reached the height of her popularity in the 1980s -- was nicknamed "The Hat Diva" because she always wore a hat when performing her signature songs, including "I'm a Cloud," "When I Hear Your Applause" and "Chasing Dreams."

She is survived by a 23-year-old son.
