Fact: Chuck Norris could be a bridge in Slovakia

If some enthusiastic Slovak Chuck Norris fans have their way, a new bike bridge spanning the country's Morava river could be named after the martial arts master/actor/Internet meme.

Bratislava's civic authorities has opened up the naming of the bridge to residents in a poll, reports the New York Daily News. And, to everyone (except Chuck Norris') surprise, the "Walker, Texas Ranger" star is at the top of the list.

According to AFP, Norris is a common punchline to jokes told in the Eastern European country.

As of Friday (Feb. 24), Norris was apparently beating Autro-Hungarian Empress Maria Theresa by over 100 votes. Polls will be open until April.

Fact: In 2006, Norris also came in among the top choices for a bridge in Budapest.
