Eva Mendes on Ryan Gosling: 'He's your dream costar'

Just as you suspected, Ryan Gosling is wonderful. Or so confirms his costar-turned-girlfriend, Eva Mendes, in the latest issue of Marie Claire.

While the actress doesn't speak specifically about their relationship -- in fact, she stops the reporter before he can really ask her about it at all -- we're pretty good at reading between the lines.

So when Mendes says, "He's your dream costar. I have never felt so creatively satisfied on a film," we're mentally substituting "boyfriend" for "costar" and assuming something entirely different for the latter half of that sentence, if you get our meaning.

In all honesty, we're happy she hasn't talked about her relationship with her "Place Beyond the Pines" costar. We wish them tons of happiness, and everybody knows that once you about your significant other in a magazine profile, you're doomed to fail.
