Drake sued over 'Marvin's room' voice mail

drake-gi.jpgRemember Drake's song "Marvin's Room" -- the one on which he kind of raps/sings over what sounds likea drunken voice mail from a chick, then (at least in the video) sits around a bar dropping the F-bomb and talking about how she could do better?

Now one of the Canadian rapper's ex-girlfriends, Ericka Lee, is stepping forward to say that's her voice mail and she's suing Drake for not sharing co-writer royalties on the hit.

According to a suit filed on Thursday (Feb. 2), Lee says she and Drake had a romantic and business relationship from early 2010 to mid 2011 and that Drake had agreed to work with her on "Marvin's Room" and split the proceeds. She says she was even asked to record the song's "hook" and opening monologue, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

"U basically made that song." reads a text message supposedly sent by Drake to Lee and included in the filing, "It's s--t without you."

Lee is asking a judge to name her co-writer of the song. She's additionally seeking damages and "disgorgement of profits on allegations of breach of fiduciary duties and unjust enrichment."
