Chris Brown: 'I promise not to beat you' is his new pickup line?

Women and girls of the world: "I promise not to beat you" is not a good enough reason to be with a man.

Now that that's established... yes, apparently, Chris Brown, who is still on probation for assaulting Rihanna three years ago, finds it hilarious to use that line to pick up women. Rolling Stone reports that Brown approached a woman at a Grammy gift lounge and said, "Can I get your number? I promise I won't beat you!"

"He and his friends laughed, then one yelled, 'That's his new line!' Ugh! I wanted to throw up!" the source says.

His rep says, "I'd be surprised if Chris said something that stupid."

This, after he tweeted, "Hate all U want becuz I got a Grammy now! That's the ultimate F*** OFF!"

UPDATE: Chris Brown has released a statement via TMZ. "That is absurd and absolutely not true. I did not say that nor would I joke about that."
