Bobby Brown: Whitney Houston's family reportedly invites him to the funeral

There have been reports that Whitney Houston's family has banned Bobby Brown from seeing his daughter Bobbi Kristina and from attending Houston's funeral on Saturday (Feb. 18), reportedly because Houston's family fears he is after Whitney's fortune and that they blame him for Whitney's substance abuse.

However, TMZ is now reporting that Brown has received an official invitation to attend the service. The site says family sources tell them, "At the last minute, the family felt that it would keep the peace at the funeral [to invite Bobby] ... even though some family members were against it."

According to someone from Brown's camp, he will definitely be at the funeral, then will leave New Jersey by private jet so he can make it to his concert at a casino in Connecticut Saturday night.
