Bobbi Kristina still in hospital, Bobby Brown cancels show to be with daughter [UPDATED]

Saturday night after news broke of Whitney Houston's untimely death, ex-husband Bobby Brown -- the father of her 18-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina Houston Brown -- went on stage and performed an emotional concert with his bandmates from New Edition. Many questioned  his decision to take the stage, as his daughter was understandably distraught.

Bobbi Kristina, who was taken to a Los Angeles hospital on Sunday for the second time in the 24 hours since her mother's passing, was "hysterical, exhausted and inconsolable." The hospital treated her for stress-related ailments.

This time, her father is doing the right thing. TMZ reports that Brown will skip the New Edition show in Nashville this evening and head to Los Angeles to be beside his daughter during this tragic time. Currently, Bobby's family members are at the hospital with Bobbi Kristina, where he'll join them tonight.

[UPDATED]: Bobbi Kristina has now been released from the hospital according to ABC.
