Adam Levine responds to Randy Jackson's comments

Ellen Show screen shot the voice.jpg"American Idol" judge Randy Jackson had some less than flattering comments about "The Voice." He basically said that it's a show for "second chance people" in the music business. On "Ellen," "The Voice" judge Adam Levine responded.

"Shame on Randy Jackson for saying that because he of anyone should know that, if you're in this business, you need second, third, fourth and fifth chances. So we love and embrace having that be a part of the show," he said to applause. "God bless Randy. He was a working musician for a long time. He had a lot of success and then the show kind of blew him out of the water and he's a household name now. I think it was an irresponsible thing to say that."

So, what do you think of his response? Is he right? Are you going to watch "The Voice" this season? Are there just too many competition shows out there right now? Season 2 of "The Voice" kicks off Sunday after the Super Bowl.
