Rumer Willis out partying a week after mom Demi Moore's hospitalization
Celebrity offspring Rumer Willis was back out on the town less than a week after her mom, Demi Moore, was hospitalized Jan. 23 for "exhaustion" or drug-related problems, depending on who you want to believe.
According to Us Weekly, Willis attended the official after party for the Screen Actors Guild awards, but didn't want to be spotted there. A source tells Us the actress was "keeping a crazy low profile" and "didn't want anyone to see her."
"Rumer was like an apparition -- she just slipped in with a friend and then was gone," the source says. "She looked like she was walking on eggshells ... She was just weaving through the crowd."
Should Willis have waited longer to make her first public appearance after her mom's hospitalization? We'd say yes, though Willis is a budding actress, and the SAG Awards seem like a pretty important networking event for Hollywood. At least she wasn't schmoozing her way down the red carpet!
A friend called 911 last Monday to report that Moore was "semi-conscious, barely. She's convulsing." Willis was reportedly in the house at the time -- the caller referred to "Ru" at one point.
Some details were omitted from the call to protect Moore's privacy. She was reportedly doing Whip-Its (inhaling nitrous oxide), but the call specified that she had been smoking something. "It's not marijuana, but it's similar to incense and she seems to be having convulsions of some sort ... She's been having some issues lately with some other stuff, but I don't know what she's been taking or not."
