Raven-Symone in 'Sister Act' on Broadway

Raven-Symone.jpgRemember little Olivia from "The Cosby Show?" Raven-Symone went on to star in a ton of television shows like "That's So Raven" and "State of Georgia." Now she's heading back to Broadway, 20 years after making her debut with the Boys Choir of Harlem. Symone is set to star in "Sister Act," according to Deadline.

"Sister Act" is based on the hit 1992 movie, and Symone will be replacing Patina Miller as Deloris Van Cartier. Whoopi Goldberg, who played Deloris in the film and its sequel, produces the Broadway adaptation which opened in April 2011.It's been a hit across the board. In fact, the premiere of the show in London is what lead Goldberg to conquer her fear of flying.

Raven-Symone is set to begin rehearsals at the end of February and hit the stage of the Broadway Theatre at the end of March for a minimum six-month engagement. Have you guys seen the show? We can't wait! Break a leg, Raven!
