Michael Jackson tribute: Justin Bieber, his children and more honor the late singer

jackson-grauman-kids.jpgMichael Jackson received another tribute Thursday (Jan. 26), this time having his hand and footprints immortalized outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. It is the first time a posthumous print ceremony has been held since the tradition began in 1920.

Justin Bieber, Quincy Jones, Smokey Robinson, Jackson's three children, plus Jackson's brothers Tito, Marlon and Jackie were all in attendance. Children Prince, Paris and Blanket were the ones to make the impressions in the cement, using Jackson's sequined glove and a pair of his shoes.

Bieber gave one of several speeches during the ceremony, saying, "He was more than an entertainer. He was an inspiration, the way he was kind. He was gentle. He was very charitable --that's why I look up to him. People are going to remember him for his dancing and his singing, but people [also] have to remember him for the man that he was."

Bieber also sang a snippet of one of Michael Jackson's very first hits, "Rockin' Robin." Video below.
