Laura Kaeppeler, crowned Miss America, has a message for Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers
With the Green Bay Packers out of the playoffs after a loss to the Giants on Sunday night, Aaron Rodgers might have a little time on his hands -- and the newly crowned Miss America, Laura Kaeppeler of Wisconsin, has some ideas as to how he can use it.During Saturday night's broadcast of the Miss America pageant, Kaeppeler teased, "If you're watching, Aaron Rodgers, call me!"
And then she won, so Wisconsinites, your football season may be over, but at least one part of this potential couple pulled through for you this weekend.
23-year-old Kaeppeler played it safe when asked controversial questions during the pageant, keeping her political views under wraps. "Miss America represents everyone, so I think the message to political candidates is that they represent everyone as well," she said. "And so in these economic times, we need to be looking forward to what America needs, and I think Miss America needs to represent all."
She scored a $50K scholarship and she gets to wear the Miss America tiara for a year... plus there's the possible quarterback bonus prize.
