Katy Perry unfollows Russell Brand on Twitter

In today's world, nothing's official unless it's on the Internet.Thus, the fact that Katy Perry has finally unfollowed her soon-to-be-ex-husband Russell Brand on Twitter is the final nail in the coffin of their relationship. As our friends at E! noticed, Perry has officially clicked the "unfollow" button -- but Brand has yet to make the move.
Perhaps this is Perry's way of removing the remaining reminders of her marriage from her life. Brand filed for divorce after a little over a year of marriage.
Perry has used her Twitter account to thank her fans for their well-wishes during her difficult time. "I am so grateful for all the love and support I've had from people around the world. You guys have made my heart happy again," she writes.
As for other celeb couples who recently split -- namely Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore -- both halves of the notoriously Twitter-happy former couple are still following the other.
