Kardashian Barbie doll, magazine deal falls through

Kardashians.jpgDid Kris Jenner's demands kill the deal for a Kardashian magazine? It may be true. According to the New York Post, Jenner's insistence on absolute editorial control has nixed a deal with American Media Inc. to create a Kardashian-devoted fanzine.

Jenner reportedly asked for editorial approval over every AMI publication to ensure positive coverage of the family. AMI covers publications like Shape, Star, National Enquirer and Radar Online and Jenner's deal would have made sure that no negative stories about the K family ran anywhere. If you recall, Star recently ran a story questioning Khloe's paternity.

A rep for Jenner claimed, "Kris has never had a conversation with AMI regarding this issue. But, the allegations contained in the Star article about Khloe not being a Kardashian are completely fabricated, false and untrue. Robert Kardashian is absolutely her biological father, so of course she was upset over their story."

It also seems that the reported deal for a Kardashian Barbie doll (which seems like a no-brainer, considering Kim's curves) has also fallen through. A rep for Mattel told MTV News, "As popular as the Kardashian sisters are, at this point in time we are not manufacturing Barbie-branded Kardashian dolls."
