Justin and Jessica engagement rumors heat up

While we're not exactly sure who "they" are, we have a hunch "they" might be right in the case of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, who reportedly got engaged in December while vacationing in Jackson, Wyoming.

No, there's nothing new to report since we initially shared the news with you. But the fact that stories about the longtime couple keep popping up weeks after Timberlake allegedly put a ring on it makes us think that this thing is for real.

We're just hoping that they'll continue to keep their relationship relatively private, a la Jay-Z and Beyonce. (Those guys refused to even confirm that they got married even though everyone knew it happened!) 

That's a likely scenario, especially since as of yet, neither Biel nor Timberlake's reps have commented on the story. And the most Timberlake has really spoken about his lady in public is this truly sweet quote from a Vanity Fair interview: "She is the single-handedly most significant person in my life ... In my 30 years, she is the most special person, ok? I just don't want to say much more, because I have to protect things that are dear to me -- for instance, her."

Timberlake and Biel have been dating for five years, aside from a three-month break in early 2011. While our teenage selves can never fully let go of our JT crush, we truly wish the best for the happy couple, engagement or no.
