The mystery is over! The actress who anonymously sued IMDB.com and its owner,
Amazon.com, for posting her age has finally revealed her name.
In an amended complaint, filed in U.S. District Court in Washington, the actress is revealed to be named Huong Hoang, though the complaint explains, "Prior to and
throughout her acting career, Plaintiff has only and always
presented herself to the public by her American stage name, Junie
Hoang." You can read the entire complaint here. Last month, the actress was given two weeks to file an amended complaint with her name included.
Hoang is seeking $1 million from the companies for
revealing her age in her profile after she signed up for the professional part of the site, IMDB Pro. In her original complaint,
Hoang claims that her acting prospects had been lessened now that people knew how old she really was.
Hoang's IMDB profile lists her date of birth as July 16, 1971, making her 40 years old. We think she looks quite a bit younger. What say you, Zap2it readers?
